Environmental law training for Manchester Metropolitan University
In partnership with Groundwork Pennine Lancashire, Keith Davidson and Lee Hughes provided an environmental law training course for 70 members of staff at Manchester Metropolitan University.
Topics included:
- An overview of environmental laws – environmental permitting, waste, water, air, land, asbestos in buildings, hazardous substances, nuisance, planning and wildlife.
- An introduction to climate change legislation and energy in buildings
- How to demonstrate compliance with environmental legal and other requirements for ISO 14001
